DAROUPAKHSH Holding as the parent company of the largest pharmaceutical corporation in Iran is establishing, managing and performing affiliated companies activities in different areas to make companies synergistically work alongside. In this regard the most important attempt is managing the product portfolio and developing a model for new drug selection phase to have an effective and efficient drug development process in the whole corporation. Additionally, It has lunched different managerial programs in the affiliated companies such as European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) which helps companies to establish an appropriate management system, explaining gaps in performance as well as Balanced Scorecard (BSC) to measure performance and track and adjust business strategy. There are also other programs which has been commenced to improve companies performance. Implementing a sophisticated IT system in affiliated companies is one of the most notable examples in this regard.
