History: As the largest and most experienced pharmaceutical company in Iran, DarouPakhsh Pharmaceutical MFG Co. was established in 1963 in collaboration with Britain’s A&H Pharmaceuticals. The company’s shares were purchased by SSO from the Ministry of Health in 1992. Dissociated from DarouPakhsh Co. (public company) in 1998, it continued its operation under the name DarouPakhsh Pharmaceutical MFG Co. (privately held). In 2000, it was changed to a public company and was listed in TSE in 2002 under the stock symbol “Darou”.
