History: As one of the largest and most advanced pharmaceutical manufacturers in the country, Exir Pharmaceutical Co. was established in 1984, put into operation in 1994 under the name of Lorestan Pharmaceutical Co. in the city of Borujerd in Lorestan Province, and was listed in TSE in 2000. Owing to the expansion of its activities at the domestic and foreign levels, Lorestan Pharmaceutical Co. was renamed to Exir Pharmaceutical Co. in 2002. As one of the largest industrial units in the country in the field of human medicine production, this factory manufactures and markets over 160 types of pharmaceuticals in various doses and forms including tablets, capsules, ampoules, cartridges, syrups, injectable vials, syrups and powders for oral suspensions using advanced technology production lines, a set of distinct and modern laboratory equipment and machinery, and expert staff.
